Iiris Puustinen (b. 2000) is a Finnish freelance dance artist and performer based between Helsinki and Copenhagen. 

She has studied at The Theatre Academy of The University of The Arts Helsinki and The Danish National School of Performing arts graduating as BFA in dance in 2023.

Iiris is working extensively and internationally within the fields of dance, choreography & performing arts. Her debut choreography "3,2,1" (The Walk) was premiered at Amos Rex contemporary art museum in 2023 as she was one of the artists selected for it´ s Generation 23 exhibition. In recent years she has also taken part in theatre and opera productions such as West Side Story (Savoy Theatre), Don Giovanni and The Ostrobothnians (Finnish National Opera and Ballet).

By combining contemporary dance making with her own extensive movement language she creates unique and multidimensional performances. Her artistic work is an exploration of themes of identity and existence, internet phenomena and popular culture and is an ongoing study of the body-mind connection.

With a previous training focusing in jazz, show and street dance, Iiris became versatile mover. Her professional career began at the age of 16 when she was working in the commercial field dancing in live concerts, TV productions and cruise shows. Now her gaze is in contemporary dance but she continues practicing in a variety of styles and techniques.
